It's a movement, not a moment.
Our ChangeLeaders Community is an online network of emerging and aspiring educational leaders who are creating real, meaningful change in schools. If you're ready to push beyond the buzzwords, stop tweaking at the edges, and find a tribe to build a movement with, CLC is right for you.
CLC gives you access to a global network of educational change leaders and connections to members both near you and in your field of expertise. Our members find and share thought-provoking content to spark genuine dialogue around leadership and learning topics.
Our conversations, curated content, and live online events are guided by members’ real-life questions, experiences, and challenges. While we consistently encourage and support each other, we'll often push back with concrete examples and next-level ideas.
Member contributions are key to the success of CLC. Your posts, comments, questions, reflections, and conversations with fellow members are what drives CLC as a stimulating yet nurturing personal and professional learning destination.
Who are CLC members?
ChangeLeaders Community is a diverse, global group of over 300 teachers, principals, and educational leaders who want to commit to grow courageously as agents of change.
What topics are discussed?
The conversations that emerge in CLC are the result of the questions about modern educational leadership that are driven by our members and their interests, as well as provocations from the CLC team. We focus on topics like "What is learning?", common language, student agency, strategies for change, trends and technologies that influence learning in schools, and much more. Together, we're crafting a vision for what reimagined, modern practice in schools looks and feels like.
How will this community benefit me?
If you’re sincerely interested in pushing high-bar change in schools, the isolation can be brutal. A vibrant, respectful, challenging community changes all of that. We frequent the edges of the educational space, and we curate and bring a dynamic flow of information and conversation directly to our members. You’ll also get real-time support from your co-members in the trenches, those who are doing authentic change work in schools, just like you.
How do I access the community?
You can access CLC on your laptop or through our iOS and Android apps. We use Zoom.us for online live sessions and events and Mighty Networks for our online community.
Participation in CLC
How do I participate?
As a CLC member, you have access to blog posts, links, polls, shared resources and much more, all available to you when you want or need it. In addition, we hold regular live discussions and coaching sessions in Zoom with the CLC team and special guests.
When are the online events, and what if I can't attend?
To meet the needs of our global community, event times and topics vary. The good news is all of our events are archived and added to the community. If you can’t attend live, you can watch the recording on your own time and in your own space.
How is CLC different from other professional organizations?
In CLC, teachers and school leaders interact and dialogue in a collaborative spirit driven by a shared purpose: learning. No one exists in a silo. We curate and create content specifically to satisfy members’ curiosities in relevant and practical ways. This isn’t traditional professional development, and that’s a good thing. Connections happen daily, not annually at a conference or through routine email blasts. We push your agenda, not ours.
