What is the cost of the Conference of Conversations?

What can I expect from this virtual event?
You can expect to have lots of conversations about your most pressing questions. There will be no presentations and no keynotes. This is a community created event and Modern Learners Community members know the power of conversations and wanted to share that experience with you.
You will have opportunities to connect with other attendees in 1:1 networking and roundtable discussions. There will be an active chat feature for the event at large as well as inside of each roundtable discussion.
You can expect to see an expo hall with information about Modern Learners courses and other tools we thing are pretty dang cool. There will not be a lot of action on the main stage except to welcome you at the beginning and to guide your reflection at the end.
What platform are you using to host this event?
We are hosting the Conference of Conversations on Hopin. This is a very new platform for online conferences. It is likely there will be a glitch, but we’ll work through it.

How do I plan my virtual agenda?
Find the full agenda here. Times are listed in the four US time zones for your convenience. Time zones also automatically convert in Hopin.
Can I access the platform prior to the event?
The event will open up 5-10 minutes early, but we’ve built in time at the beginning of the conference each day for you to come in, click around and get acclimated to the virtual space. When designing the conference, we accounted allowed a lot of time for people to connect, reflect, and explore on their own.
Will the Conference of Conversations be recorded?
Yes. Sessions will be recorded. They will only be made available inside of our Modern Learners Community. It is free to join. Recordings will likely be available within 7 days following the conference.
What if I don’t see a conversation of interest?
You have two choice if this happens.
First choice: You can go to the networking area, and meet some random people and ask them to engage in what you are interested in chatting about.
Second choice: You can create you own session with your own topic, and let people know you did this in the event chat feature.
Sadly, I cannot make all of the sessions at the Conference of Conversations. What are my options?
The ML Community is proud to have created Conference of Conversations to be a vote with your feet experience. You can come and go as you want or as your schedule allows. We’ll be making the recordings available inside of MLC, so you can always join us there after the event.
