Montana Educators Set to Experience MTEDx-21

Modern Learners Community is supporting the Montana Office of Public Instruction with MTEDx-21! Superintendent Elsie Arntzen will welcome Montana educators to MTEDx-21. Yong Zhao, opening keynote will spend time helping educators reimagine the possibilities. The afternoon keynote speaker, Dr. Dan Popov, will encourage serving the whole child, and Dr. Peter Liljedahl will be available on the second day to encourage building thinking classrooms.

This conference is not just another Zoom meeting. Modern Learners Community is making the Hopin platform available to OPI. The Hopin platform provides more opportunity for attendees to have agency over their learning experience. Educators in attendance will be able to network with others in a 1:1 video calls. They will also have an opportunity to choose from over 25 breakout sessions all related to relevant topics in education in a post-pandemic era. OPI employees will also be on hand to support teams with their LEA plans for the funding coming their way, and teams will have private spaces within the conference platform for doing this work.

Another fantastic feature of this event, is the job fair. Districts all across Montana have a need to connect with job seekers in order to fill open positions. The districts can showcase their school and their openings in the conference platform. They will even be able to set up scheduled interviews throughout the conference with job seekers who have expressed an interest in their openings.

If you’d like to attend the event, all are welcome. Montana educators are able to attend at no charge. Out of state educators pay a nominal fee of $25. You can register here.
